The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQA has been revealed recently. It is an all-electric compact crossover based on the GLA-class. However, Mercedes will deliver plenty of refreshments and some changes will set two models apart. It is a very handsome model with a unique front fascia and sportier stance. This model will go on sale in Europe and North America.
The all-electric crossover will provide great performances, including a good driving range and plenty of power. Like any other Mercedes, EQA is also a luxury model with so much to offer. The sales will begin in the coming months, probably in the second half of 2021.
2022 Mercedes EQA Design
The all-new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQA is based on the GLA model, as we already said. Two models will share a lot of things, but Mercedes will deliver some changes so the EQA model will look slightly different. The approaching crossover comes with so many futuristic cues and some exterior parts are looking both stylish and sporty.
It is a compact crossover with a premium appearance but its DNA is clearly shared with the GLA variant. The design is very modern, especially the front fascia with the horizontal light bar. Whatsoever, the same bar can be found in the rear section as well. Interestingly, the rear end looks closer to the Porsche Cayenne and Macan models.

Modern Interior
The interior will look modern, but again, most of the things are taken from the GLA model. Thanks to that, the new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQA will look futuristic and premium. The cabin is full of high-tech amenities and the 2022MY will also gain the newest driver-assistance features. A two-row five-seat layout is present and the comfort is truly great.
The interior room is not so generous, but EQA is a small crossover, so it’s not like we are surprised. Mercedes will offer a pair of 10-inch touchscreens and new infotainment. On top of that, the voice control system is up to date as well. We expect to see new interior color schemes and possibly a new upholstery.

Power, Driving Range
We already wrote that the new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQA will be sold in Europe and North America. Each market will get unique performances so the European variant will deploy a front-mounted electric motor. This motor generates 187 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, the US-spec Mercedes-Benz EQA will reportedly arrive with more power.
It does make sense after all. The most recent reports are predicting around 280 horsepower, which is drastically more. A 66.5-kWh battery will provide at least 300 miles of driving range on a single charge. In reality, these figures are usually lower. Still, Mercedes is yet to announce closer details.

2022 Mercedes-Benz EQA Price, Release Date
The price of the all-new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQA will start at around $60,000. This is not official yet, but the most reliable sources are suggesting the price in that range. The electric crossover will firstly go on sale in Europe, before reaching American soil. The sales will begin in the second half of 2021.
