The all-new 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line is a hybrid crossover that will be available at some point this summer. Hyundai unveiled its new model recently. It is a crossover that runs on a plug-in hybrid powertrain and it will provide 32 miles of all-electric driving range. On top of that, Tucson N Line will directly rival the Toyota RAV4 Prime compact SUV.
Hyundai will also launch this model in the United States, probably by the end of the year. The N Line variant joins the gasoline-powered and hybrid Tucson models. New Tucson N Line will look sportier than the base variant and the interior will also host more premium materials.
2022 Tucson N Line Design
As we said, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line will look incredibly sporty and attractive. The front fascia comes with an aggressive-looking grille and the bumper that seems to be completely new. The lower air intake is larger than on the regular version and we like the bright silver skid plate. The rear section hosts a new roof spoiler and refreshed exhaust outlets.
Unlike the regular Tucson, the N Line model comes with body-colored exterior features and unique wheels. Depending on the color, N Line also offers a black-painted roof. We like the athletic stance of this crossover and aerodynamics that are very impressive.
The upcoming 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line will also look sporty on the inside. This hot crossover offers a suede upholstery but most of the things are the same as in the regular Tucson. Interestingly, but Sonata N-Line is quite an improvement over the base Sonata model. Because of that, we are surprised that Hyundai opted for minor updates.
Still, the Tucson N Line comes with nice red contrast stitching, a dark interior color scheme, and a sportier steering wheel. The seats are more supportive so the comfort is slightly improved. As for the high-tech features, N Line will offer the same features as the gasoline-powered Tucson. When you look at the Sonata N Line or Kona N variant, Tucson N Line is quite a disappointment as this crossover is not so hot when it comes to cabin design.
Tucson N Line PHEV With Over 260 Horsepower
Recently, the manufacturer confirmed the 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. This crossover will arrive with a 13.8-kWh battery pack and it will provide 32 miles of all-electric driving range. Moreover, the fuel economy is rated at 70-MPGe. We also know the N Line model will support up Level 2 charging up to 7.2 kW.
Still, Hyundai recommends charging at home instead of using the charging station. Tucson N Line is using a 1.6-liter turbo-four engine with 261 horsepower. A six-speed automatic transmission is on offer, and this crossover will tow around 2,000 pounds. An all-wheel-drive is available too, just like the new Snow driving mode.
2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line Price, Release Date
The price of the new 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line will start at around $35,000. More importantly, Tucson is cheaper than its biggest rival, Toyota RAV4 Prime. The sales will begin this summer and we are waiting for the manufacturer to reveal more details.
