The upcoming 2021 Toyota Venza will arrive as the next-gen model. It is a two-row SUV with a hybrid powertrain, modern design, and comfortable interior. It comes as a surprise to see Venza once again, and no one expected from Toyota to make it a mid-size hybrid crossover. Venza nameplate was discounted five years ago. Poor sales forced Toyota to discount its model, but now its time for a fresh start.
The comeback of Venza also means the customers should expect drastic changes. Interestingly, the Japanese manufacturer won’t offer a conventional model powered by gasoline or diesel engine. It is a hybrid crossover exclusively. Venza looks stylish, and its interior provides plenty of upright materials. There will be a room for five passengers, and Venza will slot between RAV4 and Highlander models.

2021 Toyota Venza Design Language Is Very Recognizable
The new-gen 2021 Toyota Venza won’t share that much with its predecessor. However, the design language is very recognizable. The arriving crossover looks modern and pleasing. The front fascia comes with a brand-new grille, which is a combination of plastic materials and chrome accents. Brand’s badge sits in the middle of the front part, and LED headlights are offered as standard.
The side profile sports nice lines and creases. Venza comes with impressive 18-inch alloy wheels. As for the rear section, LED taillights are looking very upscale. The Venza crossover slots between the RAV4 and Highlander models. Toyota’s new model is 105.9 inches long, which is 5.6 inches longer than the RAV4 crossover.

Interior Changes
Given the Venza’s dimensions, the interior will be roomy. New 2021 Toyota Venza offers a room for five occupants, and comfort is great. Still, we think the cargo area could be more spacious. Venza is the first Toyota vehicle that offers optional electrochromic panoramic sunroof. Toyota calls this feature “Star Gaze.” You can activate it with the flip of a switch, and the sunroof will be from transparent to opaque.
So far, only Mercedes offers a similar feature. An eight-inch touchscreen is standard, while the 12.3-inch display is optional in the XLE trim level. On the other hand, upper trims such as Limited are offering a larger unit as standard. The larger touchscreen also unlocks the in-dash navigation, and the JBL premium sound system with nine speakers is also available.
2021 Toyota Venza Engine
As we said, the new 2021 Toyota Venza is offered as a hybrid model exclusively. The setup consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and three electric motors. The total output delivers 220 horsepower. Moreover, an all-wheel-drive system is standard across all of the trim levels. Venza crossover accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.6 seconds.
It isn’t an impressive result, but driving dynamics are more than solid, and the ride is quiet and smooth. Toyota promised around 40 mpg combined, which is great. With these figures, Venza provides better fuel efficiency than its rivals, such as Ford Edge or Honda Passport.

Price and Release Date
The approaching 2021 Toyota Venza is available in three trim levels. Everything starts with the base LE trim level that costs $33,500. Moreover, the XLE variant is priced at $37,000 and the range-topping Limited model at $41,000. The sales will start in the coming weeks, and Venza is available in the United States as well.
