2021 Tesla Model Y is finally here! According to the reports from the company, the mid-size 7-passenger crossover is ready for the dealerships. This model shares many things in common with the Model 3. Well, this is normal practice with most of the automakers, since it reduces development costs, and simplifies production. Therefore, several different vehicles can use the same platform. 2021 Model Y will be fully compatible with the Tesla Supercharger network. At the moment, there are more than 12,000 supercharger stations, across 36 countries. Furthermore, customers will be able to use a common Level 2 charger at home, a Supercharger, of the brand-new V3 Superchargers.

2021 Tesla Model Y Specs, Driving Range
2021 Tesla Model Y will be offered in four engine versions: Standard, Performance AWD, Long Range AWD, and Long Range RWD. The Standard Range model delivers a total driving range of 230 miles (370 km), 0-60 mph (96.5 km/h) acceleration in 5.9 seconds, while the top speed will be 120 mp/h.
The Performance variant provides an estimated EPA driving range of 280 miles (451 km). The Model Y with this variant accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, while the top speed is 150 mph (241 km/h). Also, a unique feature of the Performance variant will be 20-inch wheels. The Long Range AWD version provides the same estimated range, but it accelerated from 0-60 mph on 4.8 seconds. The top speed of Long Range AWD is 135 mph (217 km/h).
Same as with the first version, this one comes with exclusive wheels. The Longe Range AWD offers 18-inches as standard, while 19-inch Sport wheels are optional, and cost extra $1,500. Lastly, the Long Range RWD models will have a driving range of 300 miles (483 km), while the 0-60 mph acceleration will be 5.5 seconds. The top speed and the wheels are the same as the RWD version.

Interior and Additional Features
As for the cabin, 2021 Tesla Model Y comes fairly well-equipped. The standard equipment includes 12-way power-adjustable front/rear heated seats, three independently folding 2nd-row seats, a premium audio system with 14 speakers, one subwoofer, two amps, and immersive sound.
Furthermore, you’ll find a satellite-view map with live traffic visualization and navigation, central console with storage, four USB ports, and docking for two smartphones. On top of that, Tesla Model Y includes location-aware automatic garage door opener, LED fog lamps, tinted glass roof with ultraviolet/infrared protection, custom driver profiles, and auto-dimming, power-folding, heated side mirrors.
The additional equipment includes seating up to 7 adults, autopilot, full self-driving capability, max cargo volume (66 cubic feet), 15-inch center touchscreen, and Supercharging – Pay Per Use option.

2021 Tesla Model Y Price
The price of 2021 Tesla Model Y will depend on the powertrain option. Therefore, the midsize 7-passenger crossover comes with the price range from $48,000 up to $61,000. Well, that excludes the Standard Range model, which starts just below $40,000. The destination fee and handling are not included in the price (additional $1,200).
The additional options will add up to $16,000 to the starting price of Model Y. So, the fully-loaded could go over $75,000. But, if you don’t really need features like seating for 7 adults and Full Self-Driving Capability, the final price will be much less.
