The upcoming 2021 Nissan Qashqai will hit the markets with drastic changes. The sales will begin in the near future and we basically know everything about the new model. Qashqai is the European sibling of the Rogue Sport and both models will get almost the same upgrades. Some reports are saying the sales could start later than expected due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Spy photos are available, we have the newest interior details and much more. The highlight of the 2021 Qashqai is its trim level lineup. The approaching crossover-SUV will offer conventional combustion engines and electrified powertrain options as well. Here’s everything you need to know about all-new Qashqai.

2021 Qashqai Gets New Lights
The leaked images of the 2021 Nissan Qashqai are showing brand-new LED daytime running lights. Those lights are positioned between the front fascia and the hood. With this new layout, the complete front end will look refreshed and more modern. Moreover, a similar layout can be found on the new Nissan Juke. The goal is to deliver a styling that is closer to the IMQ concept. However, a new platform is available and it is perhaps the most important upgrade.
From now on, Qashqai will ride on the CMF-C architecture. This platform can accommodate a hybrid setup and is significantly lighter than the current CMF architecture. Furthermore, Nissan will introduce more aluminum materials so the new 2021 Qashqai will be the most efficient model so far.

Interior Updates
The interior of the 2021 Nissan Qashqai will get mid-cycle improvements. The changes are not that significant but we are not surprised. The interior design is very upright and modern so there’s no need for dramatic upgrades at the moment. The arriving crossover-SUV comes with two rows of seats and a room for five.
The cabin room is generous, including the cargo area. Nissan will introduce an updated version of the infotainment system and new driver-assistance aids. The dash will gain more modern touches and the Nissan ProPilot package will offer more features than ever before.

e-Power Hybrid Powertrain Specs
In Europe, the new 2021 Nissan Qashqai will offer two powertrain options. From what we know, a diesel engine is no longer available. A 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a mild-hybrid system is in offer. However, we don’t know yet how much power will this combo produce. On the other hand, Nissan’s so-called e-Power system is what makes the new Qashqai so special.
It is a hybrid powertrain that provides an extended driving range. It comes with a combustion engine that won’t power the wheels directly. Instead, the engine will generate electric energy that is used by the electric motor. Once again, Nissan is yet to release more details regarding the power and fuel efficiency.
2021 Nissan Qashqai Price and Release Date
The all-new 2021 Nissan Qashqai will cost more than its predecessor. However, the price will once again start at below $30,000. As we said, the Rogue Sport model in America will get more or less the same updates. Qashqai will firstly arrive in Europe and the latest reports are predicting the middle of 2021 as the most probable launch date.
