Back in 2015, the F-Pace becomes the first SUV of the British company. Soon after, Jaguar launched the all-electric I-Pace. Now, the automaker will introduce a brand-new electric model – 2021 Jaguar I-Pace. What can we expect from the upcoming EV?
Well, the I-Pace will deliver a good amount of updates, both visual and performance-oriented. Also, the technology will be completely updated. If the whole electric models seem familiar to you, you’ re right: the I-Pace is just basically the F-pace with an all-electric powertrain. No doubt, with the launching of powerful I-Pace, British automaker aim on the Tesla Model X.
Furthermore, the interior will be able to accommodate up to five passengers. Besides, the design of this EV is remarkable. You’ll find a lot of premium features inside the cabin, while the exterior brings very appealing design language. On top of that, the performance and technical aspect of EV will only enhance the overall impression.

2021 Jaguar I-Pace Design
The upcoming 2021 Jaguar I-Pace will borrow most of the exterior features from the F-Pace model. Besides the visual aspect, the I-Pace is a very unique crossover. Well, we saw the concept a couple of years ago. Back then, the I-Pace-in-the-making looks modern, with an aggressive stance.
The only major difference between that concept and production-ready I-pace is the dimensions. The forthcoming EV will be smaller a bit. Furthermore, the lower hood and roof layout took the reference from the C-X75 supercar. So, the I-Pace has to thank the hybrid-electric two-seater for the sporty look, and interesting shape. The front fascia features the same headlights as the previous version.
Moreover, the bumpers and the grille will remain intact as well. The Jaguar EV includes LED daytime running lights as part of the standard equipment. Also, the hood will hold little vent, while the rear end will get minor tweaks.

Tech Updates
The cabin of 2021 Jaguar I-Pace will get treatment as well. The design of the interior will be the same as on the concept. The focal points of the inside are wider center stack and a huge infotainment display. The dashboard comes with a very modern design, while the large A/C vents represent an excellent addition to the cabin.
Furthermore, a three-spoke steering wheel boasts sporty design, while the all-digital instrument cluster is a very useful and nice touch to the interior style. On top of that, expect numerous software and system updates.
The seats are covered with leather, and very supportive, while the wooden trims improve the upscale feeling. The I-Pace cabin can accommodate up to five adult passengers, and provide more than enough space, even though it is classic EV.

2021 Jaguar I-Pace Driving Range and Performances
2021 Jaguar I-Pace comes with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, and two electric motors setup. The combined output is good for 395 hp and 513 lb-ft of torque. That’s an outstanding amount of power, for an all-electric vehicle.
Moreover, the I-Pace accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. As for the driving range, Jaguar claims up to 300 miles between chargings. The charging time will be approximately 80 minutes.
Competition, Price, and Release Date
One thing is for sure: a Jaguar doesn’t come cheap. The premium electric crossover will have a starting price close to $80,000. TheI-Pace will be available in three trim levels. As for the competition, the British EV will go against Tesla Model X, Mercedes-Benz EQC, BMW iX3, and Audi e-tron.
