The forthcoming 2021 BMW iX3 will offer an all-electric motor that generates 286 horsepower. Moreover, this output can also provide 295 lb-ft of torque. According to the German manufacturer, its small crossover will sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds. A rear-wheel-drive setup comes as standard and top speed is rated at 112 mph. BMW will provide adaptive dampers as standard. However, the customers can buy sportier and optional M-tuned configuration.

The automaker paid special attention to batteries that will reduce the vehicle’s weight. Besides that, the battery pack will be very easy to charge. According to BMW, you can charge 80 percent in half an hour via DC fast charger. Unfortunately, we are still waiting to see the official driving range and some other specs.

Price and Release Date

The all-new 2021 BMW iX3 will cost over $50,000. However, exact pricing details are not available yet. As for the release date, the all-electric crossover will go on sale by the end of 2020. Moreover, new iX3 will go on sale in the United States and China.
