The electrified powertrain and Mercedes base are definitely the highlights of upcoming 2020 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid. Underneath the massive bundle of electric assistance, you’ll find a very powerful vehicle. The Q5 Hybrid delivers a combined output of 360 hp and 472 lb-ft of torque. The forceful hybrid engine is linked with a 7-speed non-torque converter automatic gearbox.
Also, you’ll get to choose ‘tween rear- and all-wheel drive. As for the visual aspects, the exterior is very elegant and stylish. Moreover, the cabin provides an excellent level of comfort and standard equipment. This model combines the performance quality of the LaFerrari or McLaren P1 with the efficiency of Prius.

2020 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Redesign
One thing for sure – the 2020 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid demonstrates that it is possible to send enough amounts of cooling air into the drivetrain bay without a huge grille. Moreover, the new model brings elegant shapes, excellent proportions, and smooth lines. We had a chance to see the Q50 Concept earlier this year. Well, most of the design cues from that model will be included for the Hybrid version. The Q5 Hybrid offers a reliable, yet very impressive and minimalist design.
The visual improvement is noticeable. Honestly, we were expecting of Infiniti to go overboard with the exterior elements, but everything seems to be toned down, and fit perfectly in the overall picture. One of the highlights of the front end is the slim inner-finned LED headlamps and a rounded hood. As we said earlier, the grille is innovative and very well designed.
Furthermore, the side profile reveals a diagonal fender crease, and a daylight opening area similar to the Tesla Model S. On the back, burly rear haunches provide a good grounding and even further emphasize the Q5’s bold appearance. Furthermore, the forthcoming compact executive vehicle offers a total of eight exterior colors.
The customers may choose between standard options – Black Obsidian, Graphite Shadow, Hagane Blue, and Liquid Platinum. The additional color package includes Majestic White, Midnight Black, Mocha Almond, and Pure White.

Interior
The interior of 2020 Infiniti Q5 Hybrid brings the elegant, old-school vibe to the vehicle, but the general layout and design are very good. The cabin is spacious, and entering/exiting won’t be a problem. You can personally adjust and program the easy-entry feature, to place the seat, or steering wheel as you like. However, one thing that we will definitely changed is the two-screen center stack layout.
But, we are not engineers in the Nissan, aren’t we? Furthermore, the dashboard and touchscreen controls require some time to get used to them. Similar to this is the steering wheel controls. Somehow they all look the same, and it will take some time to get comfortable with them. Two touchscreens come in different size and resolution, but the responsiveness is just amazing.
Moreover, front headroom and legroom are generous, with enough space for the knees. The back seats have a suitable room for two adults, and decent headroom, knee-, elbowroom. Still, it may be tight a bit with the third passenger in the back.
Standard interior materials will be Graphite/Leather-Appointed Seating Surfaces, Stone/Leather-Appointed Seating Surfaces, and Wheat/Leather-Appointed Seating Surfaces.
