Now, the company brings more official news regarding the new 2020 Audi Q5 Hybrid crossover. You may also hear the name 55 TFSI e Quattro, but don’t get confused – that’s for the European market only. The new model brings elegant and attractive design language, with a classy and comfortable interior.
Moreover, the Q5 Hybrid adds unique safety features and technological updates. Under the hood are a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a single electric motor for propulsion. The plug-in is incredibly powerful, even more than the SQ5 model. On top of that, the company claims more than 25.9 miles of all-electric range.
2020 Audi Q5 Hybrid Design
The upcoming 2020 Audi Q5 Hybrid will borrow a couple of things from the regular version. The Audi is famous for beautiful vehicles, with a distinctive style and gracious appearance. The Hybrid model won’t be an exception to that. The design language is moderate, even though we except kind of futuristic look when it comes to the plug-in models. But, the latest report from the company suggests that a facelift for the regular Q5 could happen next year.
Therefore, we assume that the hybrid will get through the makeover as well. But, we don’t count on any drastic changes. This brand is well-known for its cautious, traditional styling approach. Furthermore, the cabin may come new color options, but the overall interior layout will be practically the same as on the standard Q5.

Safety Features

The Hybrid model is only 0.2 sec off the SQ5’s time. As a matter of fact, this vehicle makes 13 more hp and the same torque as the 3.0-liter turbo V6. That engine, as well all know powers the Audi SQ5. So, it’s true – the hybrid model is more powerful than the one with the S badge on it.

Driving Modes

2020 Audi Q5 Hybrid Release Date and Price
The price of 2020 Audi Q5 Hybrid starts around $67,500 for the US market. In Germany, the starting price is 60, 500 euros. Moreover, for the European market, the plug-in comes with a remarkable bundle of optional equipment as standard.
However, US customers will have to purchase those packages separately. The company says that the new Q5 Hybrid will be available for sale in the third quarter of this year. But, the customers in America will have to wait a little longer for the release date.
